UPDATE ON THE TRANSFER OF THE NATIONAL ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS (NZG) FROM THE NATIONAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION (NRF) TO THE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL BIODIVERSITY INSTITUTE (SANBI)

Notice is hereby given that due to the deferment of the transfer of the NZG from 1 October 2017 to 1 April 2018. The rights and obligations imposed upon the NRF in Contracts of the NZG are to be formally ceded and assigned to SANBI as from 1 April 2018.

The NRF remains committed to ensure the smooth transfer and transition of the NZG to SANBI.
